Helmet Safety – Always Wear Your Helmet

In honor of Riders4Hlemts International Horse Helmet Awareness Day, July 12, I thought I would remind everybody to WEAR YOUR HELMET when mounted on a horse. Personally I have found lots reasons not to wear a helmet: helmet hair, hot, uncomfortable, doesn’t look cool, others are not wearing, and the list goes on. BUT there is one COMPELLING REASON TO WEAR A HELMET: YOUR SAFETY. Now that I am a mother, I feel it is even more important to set an example for my daughter and her friends.
